On November 7th, the 5th Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science was held in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. Three Nobel laureates, over ten Chinese Academy of Sciences academicians, and numerous renowned experts in traditional Chinese medicine from both home and abroad participated in the "5th Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science," engaging in in-depth discussions on traditional Chinese medicine and science, as well as the development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
The congress was presided over by He Wei, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Executive Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Dang. Chen Zhu, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Dang, attended the congress and delivered a speech.
Zhang Jianguo, Chairman of Yuanhua Group; Huang Shuhai and Liu Hejian, heads of the Shenzhen office; and Zhang Kejia, President of Huatuo Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were invited to attend the congress. As an academic conference for the traditional Chinese medicine community in China and even the world, the "Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science" has been successfully held for four sessions by the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Dang and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The three-day "5th Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science" will hold academic report sessions on eight major themes at venues such as the "Ge Hong Museum," including: "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Infectious and Immune Diseases," "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Cancer Prevention and Treatment," "Clinical Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Acupuncture," "New Technologies and Therapies," "Basic Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy of Traditional Chinese Medicine," and "Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine".
